Fumiharu Yoshimine (1962, Japan) Written for two tenor recorders "Kai" is a Japanese word with several meaning.
Performed with Yvonne Rietbergen (Netherlands) Yvonne Rietbergen was born in Leiden, The Netherlands, and studied recorder at the conservatory of the Utrecht School of the Arts with Reine Marie Verhagen and Heiko ter Schegget. Here she was awarded her diploma Eerste Fase whereafter she continued her studies in the Voortgezette Kunstopleiding Muziek. In June 2004 she completed her studies and received her Master's degree in Performance. In december 2004 she finished her study musicology at the University of Utrecht and received her Bachelor's degree in musicology. Beside her ensemble Soluna, with whom she performes mainly 16th and 17th century music, she has formed a recorder trio, Black Intention, which specialises in contemporary music. She gives concerts with Soluna, Black Intention and various other ensembles. Besides her activities as a performer she works as a freelance musicologist and musicteacher. |
